Celebrating A New Chapter With A Pet Portrait

We were recently commissioned to create a portrait of Shelly, a German Shepherd with a brave heart and a new beginning.

Shelly was originally training to become a police dog, but after sustaining an injury during her training, she was withdrawn from the programme. While her career took an unexpected turn, fate had something else in store... a loving forever home.

Her new family wanted a portrait to celebrate Shelly joining the family, marking the start of a new life filled with care, comfort, and companionship.

It was a privilege to illustrate Shelly’s portrait, capturing her strength and intelligence. A tribute to resilience, and to the families who open their hearts to animals who need them most.
