Say hello to Bella, landlady, head of security, and all-round guv’nor at The Duke pub in Hertfordshire. Officially, she’s Harry’s cat… unofficially, Harry is her human.

Bella keeps a sharp eye on the bar from her favourite windowsill throne, patrols the beer garden like royalty, and makes it very clear when someone’s overstayed their welcome. If you’re lucky, you’ll earn a slow blink of approval, or a paw on your barstool if she decides she likes you.
